It should be noted that my first reaction to this series of gifs was an overwhelming feeling of failure, as I have not yet been able to recreate what I recall as the single greatest french braid ever made down the back of a 7 year old’s head in my entire life. So that’s about where I’m at, developmentally. (IT’S NOT EVEN PICTURED IN ANY OF THESE GIFS. I JUST REMEMBER THINKING THIS AND I’M TRYING TO FORCE YOU TO ENTER MY ADOLESCENT MIND. You know that thing, where you think to yourself, “I don’t want to be sober when I meet up with this person…” So you drink a drink. But then it’s still not time, so you have another one. And it’s still half an hour until you meet up, so you say, “ok self. One more. But only because it’s walking distance.” And then it is time, and your new, fun concern is having a coherent conversation?
